We invite you to join us for Intitium,

our formal worship ceremony to mark the beginning of another School year! It will be held on Friday, September 8th, at 9:00 AM. Please note the NEW TIME. This year, we will celebrate Initium in the morning in lieu of our regular half-day Friday school schedule.

As we commence another year of learning, we must never forget that the goal of all learning is worship, and God seeks after those who will worship Him in Spirit and truth (John 4). Therefore, it is appropriate that we begin the school year worshipping God, who is the author of all truth and that we beseech Him to be our great Teacher and bless our academic pursuits. At First Baptist, we call this special worship service Initium. Initium is an opportunity for us to honour our staff and recognize our new families.

The ceremony will include a time of worship, an introduction of all faculty, a message from Headmaster Casson, and an explanation of our School Houses. The service will conclude with our new students being inducted into their permanent houses. All students are expected to attend. NOTE: Students are asked to wear their formal uniforms. Please dress as closely as possible if you are missing a portion of the formal uniform due to order delays.

We encourage the whole family and grandparents to attend. Students will be dismissed at the conclusion of the service. Come join us and start the year off with worship and the Word!
