September 1, Headmaster Email
Hello Parents,
I hope that you have had a wonderful summer break with your families! We have less than a week left until the start of the 2023-2024 school year! Some things have changed, so please read through the parent-student handbook. Below are some items for the beginning of school.
First Day of school is September 5th, doors open at 8:10 AM.
Dismissal is at 3:00PM, Monday - Thursday. Noon on Fridays.
Drop off and pick up instructions:
Parents with students in older grades are encouraged to use the drive-thru method for drop-off in the West parking lot (front wooden doors). You are to park in the East parking lot for pickup (fenced parking lot). The West parking lot may be used for K-1 student pickup.
Parents with kindergarten or grade 1 students need to come into the building to collect their child from the classroom.
**Parents, please note that we DO NOT offer afterschool care. Students need to be picked up promptly at 3:00 PM.
Children grades 4-10 must bring the requested school supplies on the first day of school.
Parents of kindergarten through grade 3 students need to pay the $25.00 school supply fee in the office on the first day of school. Cash or cheque is acceptable.
The first day of school is a full day, and students need to bring their lunch.
- We are a peanut-free facility. Please be mindful of that when packing lunches.
Initium will be Friday, September 8th at 9:00 AM. The whole family is encouraged to attend.
More details to come in a separate email. Students are asked to wear their formal uniforms on Friday. For our new families, if you do not have all of your formal uniform pieces yet, please don't stress, we do offer a grace period in order for you to get everything you need. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Elysha or myself.
I am looking forward to seeing all of you again and getting to know our new school families! Above all, I am excited to see how the Lord will work as we partner with you in your children's education. I pray that each one of them may know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour and grow in their walk with Him. May God be glorified.
In Christ,
James Casson
