June 8, Headmaster Email

Hello Parents,

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I have been very proud of the students. The heat made last week very hard, but I can see that students are trying very hard to finish strong. In our assemblies this week, we’re discussing how finishing strong applies much deeper than simple academics, but more importantly it applies to our hearts, our attitudes, and the way we strive to love God and people around us. Thank you for helping your child to finish strong.

Here are few items of note:

  • Hot Lunch: Hot lunch for the students who ordered it will be McDonald Happy Meals with apple slices and yogurt tubes. Last time, some students couldn’t remember if they had ordered a lunch or not. If students have not ordered a lunch, please remind them to prepare a packed lunch.

  • Here is the link for June lunch supervision. https://www.simplyk.io/organism/event/5f36dcdff4499500295c2fa1

  • Lost and Found: The lost and found bins are getting quite full again. Please come in and have a good look through the bins for the Latin and Greek groups to make sure you have all of your child’s belongings.

  • Tuition Assistance: Tuition Assistance applications for the 2021-2022 school year will be available on Thursday June 10th (to be picked up in the office or emailed upon request). These applications are due back by July 31st.

  • Field Trip Information:

  • Permission Forms are due this Wednesday, June 9th.

  • Dress Code: Students are getting very excited for their field trips and want to know every little detail. Specifically, they want to know how to dress and what to bring.

  • Latin Field Trip: Students need to wear a shirt that has the school crest embroidered onto it and uniform shorts or pants. If a student does not have a crested shirt, then they must wear a jumper (girls) or sweater vest (boys) with and embroidered school crest. Students may wear school approved runners. Students must also bring a lunch and water bottle.

  • Greek Field Trip: Students may wear their gym shirts along with any school approved bottoms such as uniform pants, uniform shorts, or gym strip bottoms. Students may also wear school approved runners. Students must also bring a lunch and water bottle. Many students will be swimming. These students must bring a towel, a plastic bag to put wet swimsuits in, and appropriate swim gear. Swimsuit guidelines are as follows:

  • Girls: Bathing suits must be modest and cover the midsection

  • Boys: Swim trunks (no speedos)

Have a great week!

In Christ,

Pastor Ryan
