February 5, Headmaster Email
I hope your week is off to a good start! There are a few things I'd like to cover as we begin the week:
Updated Mask Usages:
Starting last Friday, all staff and volunteers will wear face coverings at all times, regardless of whether they are with their learning group or not. As default, these will be non-medical face masks. Teachers of students whom have additional needs that require them to read lips or facial cues (such as deaf or hard of hearing) will wear face shields. As a K to 7 school, mask usage among our students remains a family decision. Please continue to do the daily health checks and stay home when appropriate.
Next Friday, February 12, the students will exchange Valentine's within their class. If your child would like to bring Valentine's to share, they need to do so for their entire class. We will send home class rosters on Monday. Please remember that due to Covid restrictions, we cannot share homemade goods.
School-Wide Spelling Bee
You may have heard from your child that we have a school wide Spelling Bee in February! The top speller from each age division will advance to the regional spelling bee. The date is February 25th and we are working out the details to determine if parents can watch in a covid-safe manner that is in compliance with the latest health orders. Watch for more details!
Re-Enrollment Paperwork and Payment
Please remember the upcoming re-enrollment deadline of March 16th for paperwork and forms.
