End of Year Field Trips


Good day,


I know there is quite a bit of information which has been communicated recently, so I wanted to dedicate one email to the upcoming Field Trips.


Lunchtime Walk to Stuart Wood Elementary School

  • Tuesday, June 14 11:45-1:00 PM

  • We need a few more adult volunteers, please email back if you are available.

  • House of Spencer is attending the 55+ luncheon and not walking to Stuart Wood. Please insure students bring a jacket to school in case we get caught in the rain.



Kindergarten - Grade 3: Railway Museum & Prince Charles Park

  • Thursday, June 16 (regular pick up and drop-off times);

  • All participants must wear closed-toed shoes, including volunteers.

  • Students must wear formal uniform, or pants/shorts with a white crested shirt. Runners are acceptable. Please have your child wear their swimsuits under their school clothes so there is not need for them to change at the park.

What to bring:

  • Swimsuit (see uniform guide on modest swimwear);

  • Towel

  • Hat

  • Sunscreen

  • Lunch

  • Waterbottle


Grade 4-6: Sunnybrae Bible Camp

  • Tuesday, June 21-Wednesday, June 22 (regular pick up and drop-off times);

  • All drivers need to submit a photo copy of their car insurance & license to Mrs. Patterson asap;

  • We will leave shortly after arrival on Tuesday and return just prior to dismissal on Wednesday;

  • We ask that all students wear their school t-shirt or crested polo on Tuesday. Wednesday clothing does not need to be a school uniform.


What to bring:

  • Bedding

  • Toiletries

  • Runners

  • Pyjamas

  • Change of clothes for Wednesday

  • Swimsuit (see uniform guide on modest swimwear)

  • 2 Towels (one for swimming, one for showering)

  • Hat

  • Sunscreen

  • Waterbottle

  • Absolutely no personal electronics, in compliance with FBCA policy

  • If desired, money for canteen purchases (candy and snacks; students will be responsible for their own money).


Grade 7-8: Memorial Park & Boating in Chase

  • Wednesday, June 22 (regular pick up and drop-off times)

  • We need a few more drivers, please email back to let us know if you are available.

  • School uniforms are not required to be worn.

What to bring:

  • Runners

  • Swimsuit (see uniform guide on modest swimwear)

  • Towel

  • Hat

  • Sunscreen

  • Lunch

  • Waterbottle

  • Absolutely no personal electronics, in compliance with FBCA policy


Students in Kindergarten through Grade 6 owe their $5 field trip fee. Please return this to the office as soon as possible.
